As a genetic counselor at Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin’s HHT Center of Excellence, I care for patients with hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT). I help individuals understand their genetic testing options and make decisions that align with their values and goals. By reviewing personal and family histories, I assess risk, coordinate testing, and explain results in the context of each patient’s care and family. I also provide ongoing support to patients and their families and collaborate with pediatric genetics colleagues to ensure children at risk are identified and screened early.
