I am a fellowship trained Rhinologist (nose and sinus specialists) who completed my advanced training at Johns Hopkins Hospital. I have had the privilege of taking care of many HHT patients and helped control epistaxis. I am currently based out of Houston Methodist Hospital in the Texas Medical Center. I am willing to squeeze any patient in if needed.
Completed fellowship training at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, another center of excellence for HHT patients. Since starting practice, I have been treating patients with HHT for mild, moderate and severe epistaxis, oronasal telangiectasia and AVMs and helping optimize medical therapy through my HHT colleagues within Manitoba. Our center has acquired a Coblator for the treatment of oral and nasal lesions, which can preformed under local or general anesthesia depending on the patient and the lesions that require treatment.
Dr. Kolia gained expertise in the management and treatment of epistaxis and nasal AVMs while completing his fellowship in Rhinology at the University of Pittsburgh, a HHT Center of Excellence. He is now a rhinologist at Cooper University Hospital in New Jersey where he continues to manage and treat the nasal morbidities of HHT.
I have been managing HHT patients as a part of my Divison since surgical training and throughout fellowship training and now as a faculty member of an academic institution.
