Ammar Saadoon Alishlash, MD

Associate Professor Pediatric Pulmonologist at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), AL, USA. He has American Board certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonology. He is Board Certified by the Arab and Jordanian Boards in Pediatrics. He is the Medical Director of the Pediatric Pulmonary Hypertension program and the Pulmonary Sickle Cell Cell program at the Children's of Alabama and UAB. He is a physician scientist experienced in Translational and Clinical Research of Pediatric Pulmonary Diseases. He has been involved in treating HHT in his pulmonary vascular clinic. HIs research focuses on factors affecting lung and pulmonary vascular development including HHT, and pulmonary hypertension. He is American Thoracic Society Fellow, Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, London. He has strong clinical and education achievements in pediatric pulmonary medicine.
