Dr. Joseph Zikria is an Assistant Professor of Interventional Radiology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He received his bachelor’s degree from New York University on a College of Arts and Science scholarship and his medical degree from the State University of New York Health Science Center of Brooklyn. He then completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, where he served as the chief resident. As a resident, Dr. Zikria gained experience in the treatment of arteriovenous malformations at the AVM Center of New York at Lenox Hill. Following residency, he completed his fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Yale University School of Medicine, Yale-New Haven Hospital where he gained additional training in the treatment of AVMs at the Yale HHT program.
