Dr. Sautter completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and graduated summa cum laude. He went on to graduate from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed his Otolaryngology residency training at the Cleveland Clinic Head & Neck Institute. He completed a fellowship in Rhinology/Endoscopic Sinus Surgery in 2008, and was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology / Head & Neck Surgery at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, OR until 2015, when he relocated his practice to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland. Dr. Sautter is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Sautter treats HHT patients from all over the Pacific Northwest for epistaxis and other nasal and sinus disorders, and has participated in several research projects in the field of HHT-related epistaxis. He performs multiple treatment procedures both in the office and in the OR, including sotradecol sclerotherapy, endoscopic laser and coblation cautery, septodermoplasty and Young's procedure.
