Biography:
Dr. Burrows has specialized in the treatment of vascular malformations, including HHT, since 1986. She is a long-standing member of the Society for Interventional Radiology, World Federation of Interventional Neuroradiology and The International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies (ISSVA). She has worked in several major Children's Hospital's (the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Boston Children's Hospital, Texas Children's Hospital and now Children's Hospital of Wisconsin) and has cared for infants, children and adults with HHT related pulmonary, cerebral and spinal AVMs throughout her career. She is now a member of an HHT center of excellence at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Her main clinical and research interests involve diagnosis and treatment of vascular malformations.
