Kelly Davidson, MD

I have experience treating the hematologic aspects of HHT, including epistaxis and iron deficiency. We have a multidisciplinary approach at UVA, and work with other HHT specialists including genetics, interventional radiology, ENT and gastroenterology.

Brandon Hardesty, M.D.

Brandon Hardesty, M.D., serves as an IHTC Adult Hematologist. Dr. Hardesty attended medical school at The Ohio State University. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency, and his Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Hardesty has a special interest in disorders of bleeding disorders and sickle cell disease. He has co-authored several manuscripts in journals including Haemophilia and Leukemia Research. Dr.

Magdalena Lewandowska, MD

Magdalena Lewandowska, M.D., serves as an IHTC Adult Hematologist. Dr. Lewandowska attended medical school at Jagiellonian University Medical College in Cracow, Poland. She completed her internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology fellowship at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Lewandowska has a special interest in benign hematologic disorders, particularly in hemophilia, thrombosis, and hemostasis. She is participating in the IHTC research, anticoagulation and educational programs.

Ibrahim Ibrahim, M.D.

I received my medical training at an HHT center of excellence at UT Southwestern in Dallas. I am board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and oncology. I have a keen interest in this disease and have experience caring for patients with this disorder. I understand the interdisciplinary cooperation that is required to treat patients with this disease.
