I moved to Arizona in 2004 and started what is now the State's only nationally accredited center of excellence in pulmonary vascular disease. As part of our pulmonary hypertension program we have been caring for HHT patients with pulmonary AVMs and pulmonary hypertension for many years. Through collaborations with Barrow Brain and Spine I have been involved in the care of HHT patients with brain AVMs since 2004. Our pulmonary hypertension program is actively involved with numerous clinical trials in PAH.
I am a pulmonologist with specialized training and expertise in pulmonary vascular diseases including pulmonary hypertension. This expertise has lead me to care for many patients with HHT, including those with pulmonary hypertension, and those with other lung issues including pulmonary AVMs. I work closely with other specialists at Vanderbilt including our hematologists, interventional radiologists, and gastroenterologists to care for a large number of HHT patients.
