Biography:
I finished my specialty training in Interventional Neuroradiology in 1999. Treatment of Brain, Face, Head and Neck and Spine arteriovenous malformations/fistulas and Epistaxis are an inherent part of my practice and thus I have come into contact with many patients with HHT. Our hospital is a comprehensive stroke center and a tertiary hospital and referral center for management of complex cerebrovascular disorders. As such, in my career since 1999 to present, I have been involved in the treatment of vascular malformations involving the brain, spine, head and neck including many HHT patients. In addition, as I am a cerebrovascular specialist, I also treat brain aneurysms, ischemic stroke, slow flow vascular malformations and venous based disorders. I am currently Professor and Co-Director of the UCLA HHT Center of Excellence.
