I was eager and fortunate enough to become involved with the HHT Center of Excellence at Augusta University since its inception in 2003. Since that time, I have thoroughly enjoyed taking care of the HHT population. Each individual has an interesting story of their experiences with HHT and often circuitous path to find us in Augusta, GA. Our understanding of the disease process has improved significantly as have the treatments options available for its various symptomatic manifestations.
